What started as the life project of its founders has evolved into a leading company in the development of communication, control, and monitoring systems for elderly care facilities

Innovation is the main driver of ISECO's work, driving the digitalization of the sector to improve care and promote person-centered care

1998

Foundation of ISECO (Ingeniería de Seguridad y Control), coinciding with the Bancaja Award for the best business creation project.

2001

Creation of Control Center, currently known as “Calas”, ISECO's first system control development. Implementation of care systems in nursing homes begins.

2002

Control Center project as access control software for the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV).

2005

Signing of the major Santa Pola Life Resort project, a vacation complex for people over 55, equipped with network infrastructure and care systems.

2014

ISECO receives the IDEAS Award from the Polytechnic University of Valencia for Best Business Trajectory. In 2014, the SAFE-ECH innovation project began, aiming to develop and implement a monitoring and control system for the supervision of an elderly care home. The project was successfully completed in 2016.

2018

A collaboration agreement is reached with supplier TESA ASSA ABLOY, making ISECO the pioneer company in implementing electronic handles in nursing homes. That same year, offices were expanded due to the significant increase in projects and employees.

2019

The company expands nationwide, opening commercial delegations in stages from 2019 onwards in various geographical areas of the country.

2020

The company’s flagship technological solution is presented: task digitalization in nursing homes using in-room touchscreen terminals

2021

The decision is made to sell ISECO Software, focusing on the growth of ISECO Servicios Tecnológicos. That same year, Calas Corporate is launched, the platform unifying digital management for nursing home groups.

2022

The company’s new venture, Calas App, the innovative app revolutionizing elderly care homes, is introduced to the healthcare and social care sector. That same year, the Ministry of Science and Innovation grants ISECO the INNOVATIVE SME recognition, coinciding with the launch of the DICARE R&D project.

2023

Next Generation EU Funds boost the M.A.R.IA Innovation Project developed by ISECO. At this time, ISECO receives the "Relevant Company" award at the 25th edition of the Valencian Telecommunications Night awards, also coinciding with the company's 25th Anniversary. That same year, the Xunta de Galicia selects ISECO as its technology partner to digitize 18+6 public nursing homes.

2024

ISECO expands its facilities with the opening of new offices next to the headquarters in Valencia, due to company growth. This year, the company presents major novelties for the sector: radar sensors and smart cameras, solutions that considerably improve personal safety in facilities. It also boosts care and efficiency through new Apps specially designed for nursing homes: Calas Ulcers and Calas Metric.

2025

ISECO consolidates its national presence with the addition of the Generalitat de Catalunya to the public administrations driving the digital transformation of their care homes, alongside the Xunta de Galicia, the Community of Madrid, and the Generalitat Valenciana. That same year, it launched the ANESTECH project, an innovation initiative applied to improving healthcare, based on artificial intelligence and cybersecurity to transform remote pre-anesthetic evaluation.

2026

ISECO begins a new phase with its integration into the Norwegian company Sensio, a leading European group in health and social care technology, reinforcing its innovation and development capabilities without losing its essence or its commitment to care facilities. That same year, it receives the 2025 Akuvox Outstanding Project Award in recognition of its track record in developing technological projects for the care sector.
