Norwegian company Sensio acquires ISECO to strengthen its European leadership in care technology

Valencia, March 3, 2026 – Sensio, a leading European care technology company with a strong presence in the Nordics and the UK, has entered into an agreement to acquire ISECO, a leading company in technological solutions for social and healthcare centers in Spain and Portugal, specializing in nurse call systems, wander management, and the digitalization of care processes.

The transaction creates a group that will exceed €85 million in revenue within the European residential care sector and serve more than 300,000 users across multiple markets. The deal reinforces ISECO’s ability to continue leading innovation in Spain and Portugal, while becoming part of a larger-scale European platform with greater technological depth and a clear long-term growth ambition.

By joining forces, Sensio brings advanced product innovation capabilities and expertise in international expansion, while ISECO contributes its strong position in the Iberian market, deep local knowledge, and consolidated, trusted relationships with its clients. Together, both companies aim to accelerate the rollout of proven digital solutions across Europe, offering measurable improvements in resident safety, operational efficiency, and quality of care.

The combined group will support care service providers in their digital transformation processes, integrating nurse call systems, task management tools, monitoring technologies, and data-driven solutions designed to improve both clinical and operational performance. Furthermore, the transaction guarantees continuity for clients, employees, and partners, while expanding investment capacity for innovation and product development.

The transaction was advised by BOREALIS Partners, which supported ISECO throughout the entire transaction process. On the legal side, ISECO received advice from Aktion. Sensio, for its part, was advised by PwC as financial advisor and by Baker McKenzie as legal advisor in the framework of the transaction.
